Frank Clesen first started renting
greenhouses in the northern suburbs of Chicago in 1941. In 1946, he
purchased property in Evanston, Illinois with the hopes of developing a
plant wholesale operation.
With 20 years of success and a growing family, he knew that his business
needed to grow as well. In 1966, Frank purchased property in South
Elgin, Illinois and expanded F. Clesen and Sons Wholesale Florists.
In 2001, Frank's grandsons, Erik and Michael Clesen, purchased the South
Elgin facility and formed CLESEN BROTHERS. Following the family
tradition, CLESEN BROTHERS continue to provide first-class products and
services. |
